Would have done that, but have thankfully replaced it with ESET endpoint two days back. Once new virus definitions updates are downloaded, it re scans the files in quarantine and creates a folder in the ProgramData files, DefWatch with files like the one in the screenshot attached. Then the alerts mania takes over, with temp files being created and flagged as trojans, like defwatch60.tmp etc. Take a look at the screenshot I uploaded to Symantec forums for resolution before I replaced it with ESET. Symantec documents this for earlier versions, not this one. - second screenshot. Workaround is a registry hack I got over 70 alerts in less than 5 minutes. CPU usage shot up to 56% and stayed there. Replaced it with ESET.
